Nang negiri adoh, urip pedagang sing pol sugeh, lan dekne nduwe putra lan putri sing ayu pisan jenenge tukiem. Pada suatu dino, si ayu urip karo si elek perkoro perjanjian sing di gawe bapake si ayu karo si elek.
Si ayu kangen lan pingin ndelok bapake lan dulur-dulure . pas bengi bengi, perkoro ndelok si ayu sedih, si elek takon nang tukiem..
“opo seh sing gawe sedih?”
trus tukiem njawab “ aku kangen omahku”.
Sak wis e ngerungokne kepinginane tukiem, cah elek wajahe dadi sedih..
“ ah, cah ayu sampean pingin ninggalo awakku ta?opo neh seh sing awakmu pingin nggo bahagia?opo perkoro awakmu benci karo aku trus pingin kabur??”
